I have been a licensed counselor for 16 years. During this time, I have successfully provided services to couples, families, and individuals dealing with various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, anger, relationship issues, grief, and PTSD, among others. I find great fulfillment in helping people heal and grow. I achieve this by maintaining a genuine, empathetic, respectful, and nonjudgmental attitude throughout our counseling sessions. My role as your counselor is to support, encourage, and assist you in doing the necessary work to discover, understand, heal, and move forward. I use particular concepts and techniques selected from a wide range of therapies. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Talk Therapy, and Mindfulness. I integrate these and other therapies with biblical principles and a Christian worldview. The journey we embark on together can be challenging and, at times, even painful. Yet, remember that every step we take is aimed at fostering meaningful and positive change in your life. To support your growth, I will sometimes provide you with specific assignments to work on between our sessions. My commitment is to empower you to thrive fully, not just get by.
