Omolola Oloyede
As a double board certified nurse practitioner in family and mental health care, I specialize in addressing ADHD, anxiety, depression, and various mood disorders. I have more than 10 years of healthcare experience. After working in various settings including community health, family practice, emergency care, intensive care unit and other outpatient settings, I realized a common human need towards actualizing a balanced mental health. I completed my nursing education at College of Staten Island, City University of New York and pursued advanced studies to practice in both primary and psychiatric care as a nurse practitioner at the University of Texas, Health science center at Houston and subsequently Wilkes University. Recognizing that each person has a distinct history, current situation, and future trajectory, and reject the notion of a "one size fits all" approach to prescribing or treatment. I am committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive psychiatry care with a focus on holistic wellness. I strive to empower individuals on their journey to mental well-being by addressing the root causes of psychiatric disorders and promoting overall health and balance. My goal is to o create a nurturing environment where individuals can achieve mental wellness through personalized, integrative care. I envision a future where mental health is prioritized, stigma is eliminated, and every person has the support and resources they need to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. I approach care in a holistic manner by identifying the root cause of health issues. Whether it's a psychiatric disorder or a related physical ailment, I will conduct thorough assessments to uncover underlying factors. This approach will allows me to develop targeted treatment strategies that not only alleviate symptoms but also prevent future recurrences.
