I look forward to meeting you, being a part of your team, and working with you to meet your goals. I am a Master's level clinician with my LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) license in the State of Ohio, as well as my School Counseling License in Ohio, NJ and NC. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education/Music Therapy at the College of Wooster in 2002, and my Master's Degree in Community Counseling and School Counseling at Ohio University in 2005. I have worked as a counselor in a variety of settings including: Community Mental Health Agencies, Schools, Private Practice and Telemental Health. I have treated all ages, preschool through geriatric throughout my music therapy and counseling career, and I specialize in working with adolescents and adults (middle school through 40s) with anxiety, depression, adjustment to life changes, family conflict and school issues. I utilize a blend of counseling theories when working with my clients, including Person-Centered, CBT, Reality Therapy, DBT, and Mindfulness/Spirituality/Yoga-based strategies. I have a passion for helping people and find it an honor to work in this field and to be part of the SonderMind Community.
