Mary-catherine Beck
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio treating children, adolescents and adults. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience at Bowling Green State University in 2011. I then enrolled in the Counseling and Human Development Program at Walsh University and graduated from a dual Master's program in Mental Health and School Counseling in 2014. During this time, I worked at Community Services of Stark County as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant teaching and promoting mental health and resilience skills to young children, teachers and families. I have been employed as a LPCC at CommQuest Services for 10 years specializing in the child, adolescent and family population. My passion includes working with individuals and families struggling from anxiety, depression, relational issues, stress and adjustment concerns, grief, behavioral/self esteem issues as well as alleviating symptoms related to traumatic stress. I specialize in working with populations that have experienced trauma and am trained in EMDR. I like to help the people I serve learn to gain balance and seek peace in their lives. I maintain balance in my life through playing tennis, reading, connecting with friends and family, my faith and spending time in nature.
