Maria Carusillo
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional with private practice and outpatient setting experience. I am also a certified Reiki Healer Levels I and II. I have spent several years supporting professionals in their career development and have a passion for professional coaching with the use of Motivational Interviewing techniques. My experience is in helping clients who lack purpose, experience stress and anxiety, relationship issues, low motivation, low self-esteem and challenges with confidence, as well as career difficulties. I am a professional woman of color and have navigated through the dynamics of the corporate world. In my own experience, I have learned to heavily lean on more holistic approaches that have resulted in long-term changes in my view of the world and in the way I approach life's challenges. One of the biggest takeaways from our work together will hopefully be the understanding and acceptance that life's journey comes with "peaks and valleys" and how we respond to these will greatly influence our perspective of the self and how we show up for others and to the world we live in. I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming your challenges. My goal is to ensure that we deeply explore your values and those strengths and help you recognize them to then identify your desires from counseling and work to that end.
