Lenda Dincer
Lenda is a certified, licensed clinical social worker. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and military settings. Her experience is in working with individuals; adults and adolescence, families, and groups. She has treated people who have issues with relationships and self-esteem, mood, and thought disorders, substance abuse, PTSD, and brain injuries. During her time at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, she co-created and implemented an Intensive Outpatient Program and a women’s support group. Lenda earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from The University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1999. She received her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from The University of Maryland in College Park. A holistic approach is used when working with clients. Underlying problems are assessed and goals are individually tailored. Art therapy is encouraged as an expression of healing and creativity. Lenda appreciates being with people on their journey towards helping them to live a well-balanced life.
