LaPrincess is a Licensed Professional Counselor and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan College (2008) and her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fort Valley State University. She is an experienced therapist, with training in play therapy, family skills, TF-CBT, foster care and adoption issues and perinatal mood disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings including public schools; group homes; foster care agencies; long term facilities and private practice. I am passionate about working with BIPOC women and families using Holistic and Solution-Focused Therapy for Women and Moms Facing Life's Transitions. . I specialize in using the Mind/Body/Soul perspective to address issues based on core values of self love, self-esteem, cultural and spiritual diversity, holistic wellness, and resilience. I provide individual psychotherapy, couples counseling, and workshops to women and their partners dealing with life transitions, career changes, self-esteem, parenting issues and life after breakups.
