I am a Licensed Profession Counselor in the State of Missouri practicing in Saint Louis, MO. I have a master’s level degree in mental heath counseling and vocational rehabilitation counseling. My education and professional background in working with the mind, disability and career gives me a unique and effective approach to counseling. I work to provide my clients with effective treatment plans that they can use in their everyday lives and help them to achieve their goals. Outside of counseling, I have worked as a qualified mental health professional (QMHP) working with adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities, cerebral palsy, and those on the autism spectrum. I also served as the Interim Director of the Mark Twain Community Resource Center (formerly located in the 1st ward of the City of St. Louis – a program to help felons and parolees find employment and abate gang activity in St. Louis City neighborhoods) where I assisted with securing employment for over 20 felons/parolees and secured a $10,000 grant from the Boy Scouts of America to help employ over 50 St. Louis City youth. I have experience treating adolescents and adults with diverse backgrounds and ranges of concern, including those with severe mental and behavioral health issues. I have training in integrative, cognitive behavioral, and motivational therapy. I’m a humanistic, cognitive – behavioral therapist. I am a certified member of the National Board of Certified Counselors and an Adjunct Professor for St. Louis Community College. I hold several certifications and I continue to educate myself by attending national and local conference, keeping up with current therapy research, and supervision.
