Kenneth Scott Jones
I am Kenneth Scott Jones, a Licensed Professional Counselor with licenses in TX, AR, OR, and MS. In 1994 I completed my Master's Degree in Counselor Education at MS State University and maintained a 4.0 GPA. My work experience includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatric units and counseling clinics as a therapist. I have worked as an onsite clinical counseling coordinator and have managed hospital psychiatric units as a department director. I have worked in hospital emergency departments providing mental health assessments and have been a therapist in a dual disorders residential treatment center. I am currently a department director of a hospital-based psychiatric unit in Hot Springs, AR; I also work in my private practice counseling clinic. I provide services through telehealth and am certified to do so as of May 2022. I participate in annual continuing education activities. I believe in professional growth as it significantly increases the likelihood of positive patient outcomes. I am excited about my start at Sondermind.
