Jill Koehn
Hello and welcome! I'm Jill, and I'm so glad you're here. With over 30 years of experience in the field, I've had the privilege of working with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, addictions, PTSD, self-esteem issues, and many others. My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the belief that we are all already whole, complete, and enough. However, this inherent wholeness often gets obscured by unsupportive conditioning. My goal is to provide you with tools and perspectives that help you see this truth for yourself, as I believe that direct personal insight is the key to lasting, positive change. I hold a degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, which informs my eclectic approach to therapy. This means I draw from various aspects of psychology and other disciplines when appropriate, always striving to meet you where you are with respect, dignity, and compassion. I am also trained as a Sedona Method® facilitator, and I offer this effective technique whenever it seems beneficial. In addition to my professional qualifications, I have a therapy dog named Atley, a 9-year-old boxer who is very sweet and loves to help people feel better. Atley's gentleness and directness have taught me a lot about the healing process, and he often joins me in sessions to provide comfort and support. Life is full of surprises and unexpected transitions, and I understand this from both professional and personal experience. My aim is to help you focus your attention on the present moment, guiding you to let go of unnecessary pain and suffering and to bring forth your authentic Self. Congratulations on taking the first step toward moving forward with your life. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey.
