I am happy to help others heal from trauma, learn to cope with mood swings, changes in their lives, anxiety and anger, and help people find meaning and hope in life again. I have been a therapist for over 15 years and have experience with different ages and backgrounds - people make a beautiful tapestry through their similarities and their differences. I believe everyone can achieve balance in their lives if they learn how to cope with whatever is causing stress and distress. I became a therapist because I love to help people feel better; mental health disorders are on both sides of my family, and I have first-hand knowledge of mood disorders. My specialties are anger, anxiety, depression, and adjusting to change. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as the main technique - what we think determines what we feel and how we act and react to others and the world around us. When you can control or change what you think, your life can improve. I use other techniques such as Solution Focused Therapy, Supportive Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
