Jerusha Muniu, PMHNP-BC I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 16 years of experience in the mental health field, including 3 years as a PMHNP. My journey in mental health began as a mental health technician in a group home setting, where I developed a profound passion for psychiatry and recognized the critical need for mental health care. To pursue this passion, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State University in Massachusetts. Following my graduation, I gained valuable experience as a psychiatric nurse in acute care hospitals and community settings, including home care. My commitment to mental health care inspired me to further my education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and becoming certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In my role as a PMHNP, I have had the privilege of working in community settings, providing care to both children and adults facing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, addiction, and attention deficit disorder. My goal is to make a meaningful impact in the field of mental health, offering valuable resources and enhancing the overall quality of life for my patients. Beyond my professional endeavors, I cherish moments spent with my family and enjoy watching K-drama and participating in community events. These activities help me maintain a balanced and fulfilling life. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don’t, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub’s educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
