JMA Mental Health and Psychiatric Services LLC is a convenient method of psychiatric treatment delivery through a telehealth platform. The central goal of telehealth treatment is to meet the client at their level, address their individual needs and eliminate the barrier caused by lack of transportation to a health care facility. The services offered include psychiatric evaluation, medication treatment and management and support during a crisis. I am a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and have been practicing as a nurse practitioner for 8 years; however, practicing in nursing for 15 years. My career in nursing started as a Naval Officer in the United States Navy. During my time in the military, I worked in the areas of psychiatry and Maternal infant care. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have extensive experience treating clients in the inpatient adult psychiatric setting, partial hospitalization/outpatient/residential setting, jail system, public school system and over 7 years of telehealth nursing. I have managed up to 6 clinics at once in the telehealth setting. I treat clients between the ages of 5 to 65 years of age. I treat all psychiatric disorders; however, for telehealth the following conditions will be accepted for treatment: Anxiety, Major depression, bipolar disorder, and Pediatric psychiatric disorders (Attention Deficit disorder, Oppositional defiant disorder, Developmental disorders, and separation anxiety). It is my goal to engage the client in treatment by building a rapport and educating the client to become the best advocate for their care. I am compelled to assist in each client gaining a sense of wholeness through human connection and psychiatric treatment. I am currently accepting clients.
