Jacob Wilson
Mine is an approach that combines evidence-based medication management with whole-body integration and consideration. I am accepting of all people, provide non-judgmental care, and meet each individual where they are at. I view each individual as a whole person, rather than a set of symptoms. I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I graduated from Regis College with a Master’s Degree in nursing, specializing in psychiatry. As a PMHNP-BC, I have been working in private practice for the past five years. Prior to private practice, I have worked in inpatient settings, such as, corrections, and forensic and psychiatric hospitals for several years. I have experience treating children, teenagers, and adults with depression and treatment resistant depression, anxiety (social and performance), panic attacks, sleep difficulties, ADD/ADHD, mood disorders (such as bipolar, and DMDD, ODD), autism, schizophrenia and all forms of psychosis, and perinatal care (which includes during pregnancy and postpartum). I primarily work with clients, of all ages and backgrounds, experiencing mood disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, sleep disorders, nightmares, PTSD, self-harming, and perinatal mental health.
