Dave currently provides100% online counseling through Sondermind. His practice centers on improving the quality of life and relationships. He works with individuals just looking for support and a non-judgmental environment to express themselves. Dave also specializes in parent-child and spousal relationships. Outside of private practice, Dave offers divorce care leadership, pre-marital counseling and marriage seminars. Dave began his career in the substance abuse treatment field, where he utilized his relationship building skills to help restore family relationships for people struggling with addiction. He uses an approach that addresses the underlying emotions behind the individual’s addictive behaviors. He feels this is the best approach for long term behavioral change and bonding. Dave and his wife of eighteen years live in Lebanon, Missouri with their teenage daughter. Dave received both a B.S. in Organizational Management and a dual M.S. in Marriage and Family/Clinical Counseling from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Texas and Missouri, and has an Oklahoma license pending.
