She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Christian counseling. Utilizing a variety of creative and traditional techniques, Christy focuses on physical, emotional and spiritual health for optimum living. Christy commonly identifies goals with clients and then makes a strategic action plan which ultimately, identifies barriers to those goals so clients can be successful. She enjoys supporting clients who are professionals and developing leadership skills, and also those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and conflicts of faith. She also worked alongside a team in TX at an outpatient private practice specializing in children and adolescent issues. Experience: She has served in the Psychology industry since 2001 when she began as an administrative assistant. She completed graduate school in 2008 and has worked in several different areas including private practice, inpatient, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs, conducting both group and individual therapy. She has volunteered to facilitate group counseling for Domestic Violence victims and also led several Christian based CBT groups for emotional healing in the community. While she was born in Michigan, she’s lived in 6 different states in her adult life, currently residing in Ohio. She enjoys reading, nature walks, coffee shops, laughter with friends, and any activity at the beach.
