Christine Cantilena
Hello, you have taken the first BIG step in growing and healing yourself. I view counseling as a process of positive continued growth and courage. I believe that not only can therapy enrich your life, it can open doors to witness the progress of your physical, spiritual, relational, and mental well-being can be restorative. Entering into counseling shows willpower, strength, and incredible courage. It can help uncover powerful abilities while providing useful strategies to enhance them. Lower your depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and if you are on the spectrum, lower your social anxiety and focus on acceptance. I am from Richmond VA. and attended Virginia Commonwealth University for Art and Design. My master's degree is from Mercer University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My fundamental foundation for successful therapy is having a non-judgmental basis, empathy, and trust. I follow the Person-Centered Therapy approach and embrace CBT, DBT and Art Therapy methodology. I am offering EMDR sessions and I am Certified by EMDIA. I love pets and currently have a cat and a dog. I am a survivor of a difficult high conflict divorce and past parental alienation. I am an author of a helpful guidebook for Women of Divorce and Healing. You can purchase a copy of the book at A Hearts Betrayal.com
