Do you struggle with anxiety and mood that have been difficult to manage on your own or even with therapy? I'd like to help you manage your symptoms but also to listen to your personal story to best come up with a treatment plan for you. I am a board-certified psychiatrist who has been practicing in the Austin area for over 8 years. I have particular interest in treating anxiety disorders, mood disorders, OCD and psychotic disorders. I truly believe that psychiatry is more than a list of diagnoses, rather it involves getting to know people instead of putting them in a box. I feel it is important to get to know you as a whole to best treat you. I also enjoy collaborating with my patients and providing education so that we can come up with the best plan for you that makes you feel comfortable. I believe that working as a team is important in this line of medicine. Limitations to care: Please be aware I do not 1. Conduct telemedicine visits with patients located outside of the state of Texas. 2. Prescribe controlled medications (e.g. stimulant medications for ADHD and benzodiazepines for anxiety) as I am unable to physically monitor for side effects due to my current telehealth format. 3. Write letters for emotional support animals. 4. Complete disability/FMLA paperwork for new patients.
