Angela Sheire
Angie Sheire is a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of experience providing compassionate and supportive care to children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked closely with couples and families to address many concerns and issues in order to aid them in finding constructive ways to work through their most stressful difficulties. Angie was trained through the Beck Institute on the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and approaches treatment from the CBT mindset. She believes in assisting others with learning how to change the ways they view situations and difficulties in their lives. Additionally, she is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and has experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), existentialism, Narrative Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy. Angie believes treatment is eclectic in nature and that there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to therapy. She specializes in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, mood disorders, women's issues, and stress management, but has experience with most diagnoses. Angie believes in finding balance in life, no matter what your situation and circumstances. In her personal time, Angie enjoys spending time working on her "fixer-upper" with her husband, playing with her fur babies, gardening, baking/cooking, and exploring new adventures with her family and friends. Angie regularly attends conferences and training in order to stay up to date in the field of psychology; she is also currently completing her Psy'd in Clinical Psychology and looking forward to starting the next phase in her professional journey as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
