Amy Welker
Making the first call, sending the email or text to get the help you need can be anxiety producing. Congrats! You did it. I look forward to meeting you. During our first our first meeting we will discuss what brings you into therapy, go over paperwork, questions, and determine together if we are a good fit. Therapy is a relationship like any other and it is important that you feel heard, understood and accepted. I am very passionate about teaching, training and helping persons learn life skills and gain the best quality of life possible. I have a lot of experience to draw from to be able to assist you in your journey. I have been very fortunate in my education and occupational experiences to have worked in every level of treatment including: evaluation to admission, detoxification, residential, reintegration, intensive outpatient, general outpatient and aftercare. Check out my website for a list of things I am trained in. I am exceptionally open-minded and non-judgemental as I have learned “Normal” is someones story I haven’t heard yet. All people have problems, that is normal. I have a strong drive to help persons that have served in the military, police officers, EMS and other public service positions. For the past 16 years, I have served in the capacity of Clinical Director, educating and training the next generation of exceptional clinicians. I welcome the opportunity to facilitate clinical supervision in Kansas or Colorado. Please reach out with any questions
