About the Course
Increase your effectiveness working with clients with substance use disorders by using Motivational Interviewing Strategies. In our Motivational Interviewing Strategies: Substance Use Disorders course Dr. Sam Lookatch from Columbia University shares her expertise on Motivational Interviewing Strategies and the unique considerations when using them with clients with substance use disorders. This information and skill set can be used by a wide variety of practitioners, including health and wellness coaches, licensed mental health clinicians and other health care clinicians. The course also offers a selection of learning tools such as expert discussion and explanation, role plays, and knowledge checks.
