Psych Hub Announces Key Additions to Executive Leadership Team to Support Growth

Nashville, TN – February 7, 2023 – Psych Hub, the leading provider of mental health education, connection, and engagement solutions, announces the expansion of its executive team with the addition of four key leadership appointments. Barbara Kandemir has been named as the organization’s President, Allison Hart as Chief Marketing Officer, Susan Tournie as Vice President of Sales and Sales Operations, and Amy Kavalec as Vice President of Client Success. These executives will be critical to Psych Hub’s success as the organization continues to evolve and expand how it supports the entire mental health ecosystem — the individuals seeking mental health support, the practitioners delivering it, and the organizations supporting them both.

In her new role as Psych Hub’s President, Barbara Kandemir will work closely with the Board of Directors, CEO, and executive leadership team to set the organization’s strategic direction and operationalize corporate vision and objectives. Her extensive experience helping organizations build operational excellence will be essential to Psych Hub’s growth journey. Barbara has held senior financial and operational positions in several industries, including senior living, healthcare credentialing, talent analytics, and information management.

Allison Hart, Psych Hub’s new Chief Marketing Officer, will lead the expansion and evolution of the organization’s marketing and communications function, focused on broadening awareness and engagement by optimizing marketing strategy, execution, and operations to support strategic company growth. Allison is an accomplished senior marketing executive who brings more than 20 years of experience supporting brands in the information technology, healthcare, and senior living industries to Psych Hub. She has established a reputation of success in a broad range of areas, including branding, demand generation, sales enablement, content marketing, and thought leadership.

As Vice President of Sales and Sales Operations, Susan Tournie will leverage her experience to apply effective best practices and sales strategies that fuel growth, finding solutions that benefit both Psych Hub clients and the organization while ensuring all stakeholder interests are met with integrity. Susan brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare and a unique understanding of various healthcare segments, including 20 years selling healthcare technology. Having built her career with a practical approach to problem-solving and leadership, she brings proven expertise in designing data-backed sales models and leading sales organizations with a focus on achievement and accountability to Psych Hub.

Psych Hub’s new Vice President of Client Success, Amy Kavalec, will spearhead the continued advancement of the organization’s client experience, leading efforts to build teams, implement processes, develop technologies, and drive operational and transformational excellence. Amy brings more than 25 years of client experience leadership to Psych Hub, including various roles in the healthcare, senior living, and higher education technology spaces. She is known for her creativity in finding solutions that best serve clients while leading with authenticity, flexibility, and an ability to work seamlessly across all functions and teams within an organization.
