Breaking the Binge Eating Cycle
Binge eating is the most common form of disordered eating, but most clients do not talk about it with their therapists due to shame and stigma. In this course, participants will learn how to ask questions that help clients talk openly about their eating, assess for binge eating disorder symptoms, and use evidence-based strategies to break the binge eating cycle. Specific topics include influencing factors like negative emotions and stress, assessing for subtle forms of restriction, and connecting clients' values beyond eating and weight.
Total running time 129 minutes. 2 hours CE. Recorded video format (non-interactive).
