
Shelly Bingham
Shelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with sixteen years of professional experience in the behavioral health field. She completed a bachelor’s degree in social work at Madonna University in 2003. Four years later, Shelly graduated from Wayne State University with a master’s degree in clinical social work. Currently Shelly specializes in treating adults with major depressive disorder; bipolar; generalized anxiety; social anxiety; panic disorder; obsessive-compulsive disorder; post-traumatic stress disorder; and insomnia. She uses Cognitive-Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused therapeutic interventions in treatment. Shelly is passionate about collaborating with members, using their strengths and her clinical training, to support members’ ability to achieve their personal treatment goals. In addition, Shelly is comfortable working with a diverse population. She believes that creating a compassionate and safe environment that is free of judgement and respectful of an individual’s uniqueness is critical to a successful therapeutic experience. Shelly recognizes the importance of making time for leisure and social activities. When not working, she enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with her family.
