I gained extensive experience of full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses while working for 5 years at a locked inpatient psychiatric hospital in which I was on the most acute locked unit for 2.5 years and 2 years in the outpatient (PHP/IOP) department as well as working with the Military Residential Treatment department. Subsequently, I have worked for a residential treatment center beginning in 2020-present while I began building my private practice. I am currently contracted to provide EMDR, Somatic Therapy and Reiki at this treatment center as a trauma therapist part-time. Although working with trauma is my passion, I lean in and gravitate toward Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, Gestalt, CBT, Gottman and mindfulness-based techniques. A significant portion of my practice is blended with resourcing, grounding, body awareness and mapping of emotional experiences. My passion for helping to treat trauma has guided additional training in somatic psychotherapy and EMDR treatment. I work primarily with adult individual women, men, couples, and gender fluid identifiers 18+ years of age. I am impassioned to work with diverse ethnicities, those disenfranchised, and members of the LGBTQ community.
