"Margaret Brown is an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, earned in 2015. Specializing in trauma/PTSD, mood disorders, substance use disorders, suicidality, and anxiety disorders, Margaret has over two years of experience using therapeutic modalities such as TF-CBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Harm Reduction techniques. Her work primarily focuses on youth experiencing suicidal ideations, generalized anxiety disorder, adjustment disorders, and self-injurious behaviors. Margaret has provided mental health services, community outreach, advocacy, and case management in various settings, including intensive outpatient medication-assisted programs, in-home therapy, outpatient clinics, and schools. She is dedicated to supporting single mothers, women, BIPOC, neurodiverse individuals, and survivors of trauma and abuse.
