Dr. Latouna Hayes is a skilled psychotherapist with over 7 years of experience counseling individuals with Anger, Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Burnout, Career and Work-Related Issues, Fear, Grief and Loss, Phase of Life Issues, Relationship Issues, Self-esteem issues, and Spiritual Issues. Dr, Hayes believes in coming alongside her clients, creating an environment that allows rapport building and collaboration in order to personalized care plans that align with their goals and values. Dr. Hayes may use any of the following theoretical orientations in the counseling session (CBT, DBT, Solution-Focus, and Client-Centered). For clients who seek to have faith be a part of their counseling session, Dr. Hayes, focus on psychotherapy that integrates a biblical perspective. She is convinced that God’s Word is a guide for those who seek to know how to navigate life’s circumstances. Throughout Dr. Hayes’ training she has been keenly interested in the effect stress and anxiety has on the soul. Her dissertation reflected this interest and is entitled, “Faith: An Antidote to Stress and Anxiety.” Dr. Latouna Hayes received her PhD in Christian Counseling from Northwestern Theological Seminary. She received her M.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in Community Counseling from Argosy University and her B.S. in Psychology from Illinois State University. Understanding that individuals need coaching as well, she devoted herself to receiving a certification in Life Coaching. Dr. Hayes’ passion for women’s wellness created the “CYC Circle” a 6-week closed group designed for women who find themselves overwhelmed and worried by the circumstances of life. Dr. Hayes is persuaded to Live Life Abundantly (emotionally, spiritually & physically).
