Diana D. Washington, MSW, LCSW, is a dedicated clinician with over 15 years of experience. She has certification in TF-CBT, a member of NASW, and Alpha Delta Mu Honor Society. As a cognitive behavioral therapist, she addresses various mental health issues and believes that by enhancing resilience through evidence base practice, empowers individuals to overcome challenges. She also incorporates Solution Focus Therapy, from a Strengths Perspective, focusing on the inherent capabilities of each client to foster sustainable change. Her career, in a hospital, clinics, and nonprofit settings, has been driven by a deep-seated passion, a commitment and a belief in the strength of human ability to bounce back. Diana believes that everyone has unique qualities however some of their practices may need refining and/or gentle guidance. Her expertise lies in developing and implementing a supportive, participatory individualized plan of care as clients learn new coping skills that help to reduce and to manage obstacles that impacts progress. Her priority is to provide patients with meaningful, life-improving solutions that promote positive change for overall wellness. She is committed to lifelong learning and regularly participate in professional development opportunities to be mindful of the latest clinical practice.
