Carolyn Martin, LISW believes in meeting each of her clients where they are at with the understanding that everyone has unique hardships and a different life experience. Carolyn utilizes a compassionate and person-centered approach to empower her clients and help give them the support and tools to overcome their challenges and emotionally heal. With over 10 years of clinical experience, Carolyn is a highly skilled and well trained clinical therapist specializing in the treatment of Anxiety, Trauma, Depression, and ADHD. While Carolyn treats clients with diverse backgrounds and needs, she focuses on working with and supporting neurodivergent clients (ADHD/ASD), those healing from complex and/or religious trauma, and providing safe and welcoming care for LGTBQ clients. Carolyn utilizes evidenced based therapeutic modalities to plan and effectively treat her clients. She is trained/certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Somatic Therapy. Carolyn strives to make the therapeutic experience engaging, relatable, and at times even fun, through incorporating elements of pop culture or “Geek Therapy” into her practice. Outside of clinical practice, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family and beloved cat, Luna. Her hobbies include spending time outdoors, playing guitar, going to concerts, traveling and playing games in virtual reality.
