Andrea Farmer
Dr. Farmer is currently an active member with Utah Nurse Practitioners (UNP), American Nurses Association (ANA), and American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is board certified in family medicine with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and psychiatry with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Her education includes a bachelor of science in public health and nursing from the University of Utah. She then went onto graduate school at Westminster College and received a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctorate of Nursing (DNP), and Post-Masters Certificate Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Program (PMHNP). Dr. Farmer is licensed to practice in the state of Utah and Alaska. As a nurse practitioner, she has experience in family medicine, sleep and lung, urgent care, and psychiatry. Over the last four years, Dr. Farmer has focused her work in the field of psychiatry. She has experience in the setting of general adult outpatient psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, residential treatment programs, and addiction medicine. Her goal is to guide and support patients in the restoration of their health. Health can be defined by one’s physical, mental, and spiritual needs.
