Therapy Cafe (Video Version) - Elevating Therapy: Evidence-Based Practices in Mental Health
The delivery of evidence-based treatments is much discussed but too often that’s not what patients/consumers receive when they engage in treatment for a behavioral health disorder. Linda Rosenberg, MSW provides an overview of evidence-based interventions in healthcare and their critical importance. We’ll discuss the most common mental and substance use disorders, current barriers to their implementation, and how health systems and practitioners can overcome these barriers to deliver evidence-based care.
