I am Zatascha Burton, a Licensed Professional Counselor and as a therapist, I stay educated about best practices for working with my clients. I strive to create an affirming space for every community - helping individuals, and young people to identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them distress, anxiety, and stress. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2013. I have worked in Behavioral Health with adult individuals and school age children for the past eight years in the SE Georgia region and have recently launched my private practice in 2020. I am thrilled to have found my passion in psychotherapy and helping others. From a deep desire in my heart to make a positive impact, I discovered that people need someone they can trust and talk to without judgment. This need fueled my drive to create a safe space for diverse cultures and populations.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
