I am a licensed professional counselor at Sondermind. I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado in 2018. I have experience working in Community Mental Health, Outpatient, Crisis Mental Health, Disaster Mental Health, School-Based Mental Health, and Private Practice settings. I am passionate about working with people of all ages and backgrounds and believe that though we may be the expert on our own life, having another empathetic person to talk things through with can help an individual reach their goals and aspirations. Some of my areas of expertise include trauma, anxiety, depression, attention difficulties, adjustment, identity, self-esteem, grief & loss, stress management, and coping skills. While I approach therapy from a trauma informed, client-centered, humanistic, and emotionally focused perspective, I believe that therapy is most helpful when it is a collaborative process between member and clinician. My therapeutic style is empathetic and warm, I aim to meet you exactly where you are in an effort to best understand exactly where you would like to be.
