I have been fully licensed for over a decade, but have worked with people in a variety of treatment settings since 2001. My approach is very client-centered. I believe that you are the expert of your own wants and needs. My goal is to help you achieve the things that you want in life in a safe and healthy fashion. I will partner with you to work through any issues or problems you might be experiencing. I have 10 years of experience working with adolescents, 3 years working with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses, and 8 years working with individuals who are in correctional settings. I have also provided drug and alcohol treatment in a group setting for 4 years. Additionally, I have taught as an adjunct professor at a local college for 12 years. I enjoy helping people!

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
