Rochelle Boyd
Rochelle Boyd is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who holds dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has over 16 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. Rochelle graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in health education with a specialization in Community Health. She later went on the earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. With a passion for education and the desire to be able to advocate for patients, she furthered her studies by earning a Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University and later a post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Nursing from University of Miami. In addition to psychiatry, Rochelle has worked in a variety of settings including women’s health, geriatrics, primary care, trauma surgery and corrections. Throughout her career, her service has been prestigiously acknowledged by her peers for providing quality patient care. Rochelle Boyd is devoted to carry out and encourage total wellness, encouraging her patients in the scope of physical and mental health. She currently practices in psychiatry, providing primarily medication management treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, PTSD, sleep disorders, as well as ADHD. She prides herself in patient health advocacy while developing continuing, therapeutic patient relationship and providing care with the best treatments available. She considers herself a great listener who enjoys engaging with people of different backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life. As a clinician, she continues to promote mental health, including resolutely making efforts to help lessen the stigma of mental illness and empower individuals struggling with mental illness. She stands by her mantra, that is meeting people where they are and helping them to develop and discover the tools needed to get to where they desire to be.
