Hello, I'm Paul, and I'm glad you're here. Life can be extremely difficult to navigate at times, particularly when going through a life transition. There are moments when the coping skills that previously worked for us are no longer up to the task. It is during these times of stress and transition that we have an opportunity to look at things in a different way. I have tremendous respect for you because you've mustered the courage in this time of adversity to reach out for help—not just to better cope but to embark on a journey of learning to better understand yourself and your relationships. I consider it a great privilege to walk with people through this journey, and I believe that together we can learn how to better manage the challenges life throws at you.

In 1999, I completed my doctoral degree in Psychology. Since then, I have had the privilege of helping people in a variety of settings, including community mental health, hospitals, schools, and private practice, working with a wide variety of populations and age groups. After 25 years in the field, there is very little that I haven’t seen before. I most enjoy helping adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety and depression, as well as individuals navigating life changes. I have particular expertise in ADHD, anxiety, Autism, and assisting parents with navigating the school special education process.

My approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing on several diverse methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered, and insight-oriented perspectives. I view the therapeutic process as a journey taken in the context of a partnership characterized by mutual respect and trust. During our sessions, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings together.

Currently, I am offering sessions via online videoconferencing, and I have some availability for afternoon appointments. If you're ready to join me on this journey, please message me. I look forward to working with you.
