"Hola!" Hello! My name is Mitzi (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Orange County, CA. I am happy you are here. I know that deciding to take the first step to seek help or support can be very scary, especially if you feel like your family or culture does not understand or approve of asking for help/ receiving mental health services. I can relate! I hope that together we can get you to a place where you grow and heal from past experiences. I hope to provide a safe and respectful space to engage in meaningful conversations with you.
I have been a mental health therapist/clinical social worker for about 9 years now. I currently work in a community mental health program as a Bilingual Clinical Supervisor and started there as a Bilingual Clinician after graduating with my MSW degrees in 2015.
I love helping to empower others and I really do consider it a passion of mine. I really enjoy building relationships with my clients and being there as support through whatever life stressors they are going through. I enjoy using humor when appropriate. I want my clients to feel comfortable and like they can be themselves when we work together. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
