Hello my name is Korin Best and I specialize in anxiety, stress management, depression, and substance abuse/recovery. I work with ages 13-50. I graduated in 2010 from Argosy University with a Master's degree in Community Counseling and a concentration on Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been working in the mental health field for 13 years and 8 years of those were spent in inpatient psychiatric/substance abuse hospitals. I have had many professional and personal experiences that have enriched my skills and compassion for my clients and their diverse backgrounds. I love helping others reach their maximum holistic potential and believe that it is important to treat the whole person. I focus on self-care as the foundation of each of my client's journeys as they work toward meeting their specific treatment goals.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We only list providers where we have a contractual relationship with a network, group, or practice that a provider is a part of, or where we have a direct contractual relationship with the provider. That contract governs the terms of participation on the Psych Hub site, and in some cases, as mentioned below, the provider’s, group’s, or network’s use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
