I am a passionate counselor licensed in New Jersey who is driven in working with individuals who have a desire to make lasting change in their lives, improve their mental health and wellness and to be the version of themselves they may not have even imaged.

I have had extensive training in several evidence based treatment models such Prolonged Exposure therapy for PTSD, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. I utilize empirically supported practices to address mental health issues such as: adjustment concerns, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, impulse control, emotion dysregulation and relationship issues.

I am also a certified yoga teacher and utilize this knowledge of eastern philosophy, Ayurveda, meditation and mindful movement in my work with individuals, groups and even couples when appropriate.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
