I believe that all of us have the capacity for meaningful, positive change. But change is hard and most of us benefit by having professional support to work on specific change goals. I am here to provide that support.
I have a MA in Educational Counseling and have spent over twenty years as a professional educator and therapist. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2004 and have served on the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners Credentialing Committee and have provided counselor supervision to help grow our profession with exceptional professionals throughout the state. I am experienced in working with social service agencies as both a therapist and clinical supervisor.
My therapeutic experience covers areas of trauma, depression, anxiety, and career issues. I have assisted many clients to find supported positive change as they work through grief, loss, and trauma history. I work closely with clients to establish meaningful and measurable goals that lead toward systemic change and improved quality of life.
I thought I liked animals but the pandemic and working from home have put me over the top. I live with my husband of forty years and we attend to the needs of three dogs, one horse, one cat, a flock of chickens, and two goats.
