I genuinely love being a mental health therapist and find deep meaning in helping others grow and heal. I am passionate about ending the stigma surrounding mental health and normalizing therapy.
My approach is nonjudgmental, compassionate, and collaborative. I work to gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns while honoring each person’s unique complexity and strengths. I incorporate empathy and appropriate humor to foster connection, insight, and lasting change.
A U.S. Army veteran, I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples navigating stress, trauma, and life transitions. I hold an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (UNT–Denton), and a PhD in Psychology (SMU–Dallas). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor (LPC-S) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).
I specialize in anger management, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, emotional suppression, and sexual compulsivity. I also enjoy helping couples strengthen emotional connection, communication, trust, conflict resolution, and intimacy.
