I am Jessica Burton a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Georgia (License #012600) and South Carolina (License #8977) I graduated from Benedict College (2010) and South University (2012) with over 14 years of experience working in counseling/ providing therapy services. I have worked, in numerous environments/ settings, such as prison settings, out-patient, and in-patient facilities/ hospitalizations for adolescents/ adults, individuals, families, adolescents, and individuals with dual mental health diagnoses. I believe in promoting a safe space to have real/ authentic conversations, where I will meet you where you are, to identify and explore realistic steps to implement within your everyday life, using supportive therapy and holistic approach, CBT, and DBT skills and techniques for developing your very own personalized treatment plan. Together we will embark on a personalized journey to break through limiting belief systems, to begin promoting positive reinforcement of empowering beliefs.

Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
