Hello, I’m Ciarys and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and Texas. As a therapist, I believe that a kind and supportive, client-focused approach is fundamental in helping navigate the many challenges that life can bring. I like to provide my clients with a warm, nonjudgmental, safe, and supportive space where we can explore and address the various thoughts, emotions, experiences, etc. that pose a challenge in everyday life. Life can bring about many challenges and at times, seeking professional support can help manage these challenges. I take pride in being able to meet my clients where they are at as we explore what therapy has to offer. NOTE: At this time I am not able to provide evening or weekend appointments. My current scheduled openings are M-TH 10 am - 5 pm (Pacific Time). I grew up in Los Angeles, California and am currently residing in Austin, TX. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology with a Minor in Chicano/a Studies at the University of California Los Angeles in 2012 and my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of Southern California in 2018. As a Latina woman, I have had the privilege of serving the Spanish-speaking community in addition to serving English-speakers of all different races and backgrounds. Specifically, I have experience providing counseling services to adolescents, adults and seniors. In 2023 I opened my private practice, Alta Therapy Center, with the hopes of making mental health more accessible.
