Welcome to Kairos Counseling and Consulting LLC. Im Carmen, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) in the states of Pennsylvania and Florida. I received my masters degree in counseling psychology from Chatham University. Impacting individuals and families; helping them to experience resilience, growth and transformation through difficult experiences or life transitions has been my passion...well and JESUS.

My clients are usually self-aware, observant, strong, intelligent, and sensitive; desiring the skills or motivation to move forward. But also may feel overwhelmed, ashamed, anxious, depressed, self conscious and/or defeated. My role in your journey will be to assist you in managing physical, emotional and experiential symptoms that have kept you stuck, process distressing experiences and envision a future grounded in hope. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I look forward to supporting you in that journey.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
