I am Amina, an ANCC Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health, a member of the American Nurses Association, the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Texas and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. I earned my Master of Science degree from the University of South Alabama in 2020. I am devoted, compassionate and diligent and take great pride in helping those seeking help for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, insomnia, ADHD and substance use disorders.

I have more than nine years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field ranging from child, adult and geriatric in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am known for having the ability to connect with my patients and understand experiences from their perspective. I am m well-versed in psychopharmacology and also like to follow evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience and personal observation.
