Amber is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years of experience and education in the mental and behavioral health field. She is a member of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia, which is one of the largest State Counseling Not-For-Profit Independent Associations and recognized as the Most Outstanding State Association in the USA by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA). Throughout her years in the counseling field, she has had a variety of clinical experiences, including inpatient hospitals, emergency rooms, Department of Family & Children Services, and private practice. Professionally, her interests include supporting others in building self-esteem, self-awareness, and reaching their personal goals. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, using different techniques for individualized care. Her most commonly incorporated techniques include interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Humanistic therapy. Amber takes special attention to advocate for the importance of self-care in today’s society and encourages others to be their own agents for change and peace within. Session Availability: Mondays and Wednesdays - 5pm to 9pm Expectations for the total length of each session will be approximately 55 min. Expectations for the total length of therapy will be discussed and notated in your Treatment Plan. Your plan will be reviewed at least every 90 days and the plan for continued treatment will be discussed at that time.
