In our Motivational Interviewing Strategies: Foundations course Dr. Sam Lookatch and Dr. Aimee Chiligiris from Columbia University share their expertise on the five principles of Motivational Interviewing (MI), the four MI processes, and MI communication skills. This information and skill set can be used by a wide variety of practitioners, including health and wellness coaches, licensed mental health clinicians and other health care clinicians. The course also offers a selection of learning tools such as expert discussion and explanation, role plays, and knowledge checks.
