Alan Sheriff has worked in investment banking for over thirty-seven years in a variety of senior positions. Alan initially spent nine years at Salomon Brothers Inc. and from January 1992 until February 2005 at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he was Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets for the Americas. Alan is the founder and former Co-CEO of Solebury Capital, which was founded in 2005. Solebury Capital is the industry’s leading equity capital markets advisory firm specializing in IPO’s, follow-ons, block trades, and general capital markets. Solebury is also a leader in investor relations and corporate communication. Solebury was acquired by PNC Bank in 2015 and Alan currently serves as a Vice-Chairman of PNC’s Corporate and Institutional Bank.

Alan graduated with a BA in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Rochester in 1981 and with a Masters in Public Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs in 1983. He is a member of The Council on Foreign Relations and the NationSwell Council. In January 2011 Alan served as a delegate for the U.S. State Department’s Global Entrepreneurship Program in Egypt, in an effort to promote and spur entrepreneurship around the world. In the past, Alan has sat on numerous nonprofit Boards including The Center for Attention and Learning Disorders, The Solebury School, and Delaware Valley University. Alan currently sits on the Boards of several start-ups including PsychHub and Hydros Life. He is also on the Board of Tailwind Acquisition Corp., a blank check company (SPAC).

Alan lives in Bucks County, PA with his wife Karen. They have four adult sons.
